MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) has released an important update for the second round of NEET UG 2025 counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the seat matrix and vacancies for NEET 2025 counselling round 2.

A total of 1,134 new MBBS and BDS seats have been added in this round, which has further increased the chances of admission in medical colleges.
According to the new seat matrix released by MCC, there are 7,088 virtual vacancies, 13,501 clear vacancies, and 1,134 new seats available for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses. That is, a total of 21,723 seats are available in this round.

Virtual vacancies depend on the choices and upgrading behaviour of the candidates, while explicit vacancies are definitely available. A careful analysis of these will help candidates make the best choice.
➤ Virtual Vacancies: Seats that are shown as vacant after the first round, but are based on the status of applicants who can upgrade. Hence this number is dynamic.
➤ Explicit Vacancies: Seats that are definitely vacant and available for allocation immediately.
