NEET UG 2025 Counselling Schedule Released – Apply Online from July 21

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the official schedule of NEET UG 2025 counselling on its website mcc.nic.in. Candidates who have cleared the NEET UG exam this year can register online for the first round of counselling from July 21, 2025.

The NEET UG 2025 result was released on June 14 and now candidates were waiting for the counselling process of MCC for admission.

Who Can Apply for NEET UG 2025 Counselling?

The following seats will be filled for admission under NEET counselling conducted by MCC:

• 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats
• 100% seats in institutes like AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU and ESIC
• Seats in Central and Deemed Universities
• AFMC and IP quota seats in ESIC
• Other institutional quota seats managed by MCC

Number of Rounds in NEET UG 2025 Counselling

NEET UG 2025 counselling will be held in four main rounds:

• Round 1
• Round 2
• Mop-up Round
• Stray Vacancy Round

If some seats remain vacant even after these rounds, MCC may conduct additional rounds to fill those seats.

Who can apply?

All the candidates who qualify the NEET UG 2025 exam will be eligible to participate in MCC counselling. Apart from this, candidates have to provide correct details of their category, score, and documents during counselling.

NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Steps to register online

Here is how eligible candidates can register online for NEET UG counselling:

1. Visit the official website, mcc.nic.in
2. Click on the UG Medical Counselling section
3. Register/Login using NEET credentials.
4. Complete application, including payment of processing fees.
5. Upload required documents (NEET scorecard, ID proof, category certificate, etc.).
6. Fill and lock choices of colleges and courses.
7. Download confirmation receipt/acknowledgment.
8. Stay alert for seat allotment results and reporting guidelines.

To register and participate in the counselling, candidates will need:

• Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets
