The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the choice filling window for the first round of NEET UG 2025 counselling today, August 4, 2025. Candidates who have registered for the All India Quota (AIQ) can fill their college and course choices by visiting the official website mcc.nic.in till 11:59 pm.

The choice locking facility from MCC will start at 4 pm today and will remain active till 11:59 pm. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and lock the options well in advance, as once the locking is done, no changes will be possible.
The registration process for NEET UG counselling round 1 ended on August 3 at 1 pm. After this, now MCC will start the seat allotment process for the first round. The result of seat allotment will be released on August 6. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report to the respective college from 7th to 11th August 2025.
NEET UG 2025 counselling will be conducted by MCC in three phases—Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-up round. Additionally, a stray vacancy round will also be conducted in which admission will be given to the remaining vacant seats.
MCC NEET UG counselling is for the following institutes and quotas: 15% All India Quota seats, 100% AIIMS MBBS seats, all MBBS/BDS seats of BHU and AMU, 100% JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal seats, 85% state quota MBBS/BDS seats of DU and IP University, 15% Institute Quota seats of ESIC and all BDS seats of Jamia Millia Islamia.
After seat allotment, candidates will have to report to the respective college. For this, they have to download the admission letter from the MCC portal and go to the college with all the necessary documents and complete the process of reporting and document verification.
Candidates are advised not to miss any important information and keep checking the mcc.nic.in website regularly. By following the right procedure at the right time, their admission can be completed without any hassle.
