NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Physical Reporting Closes Today for Float Option Candidates
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has sent an important notification to candidates appearing for NEET UG Counselling 2026. This notice is primarily targeted towards those candidates who opted for FLOAT during the seat allotment in Round 1.
MCC has provided a detailed schedule regarding submission of willingness, uploading of documents, and institute-level verification and admission. Candidates need to follow this process in order to stay eligible for seat upgradation.

MCC NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Round 1 Float Option Deadlines Today
Candidates who desire seat upgrade shall convey their intention before 12:00 noon on August 31, 2026. The document submission portal for FLOAT candidates shall remain open till 2:00 PM on that very day.
The last date and time for physical presence of candidates for freezing of their allotted seat in Round 1 shall be 5:00 PM on August 31, 2026.

It is advised that the candidates ensure the uploading of all documents in their proper form. In case of any discrepancy reported by an institute, it should be rectified and re-uploaded before 11:59 PM of August 31, 2026. Otherwise, the allotment of the seat could get cancelled due to this.
The allotted institutes would confirm or cancel their Round 1 allotment process by 11:00 AM of September 1, 2026.
By logging into their MCC account, the candidates can view their admission status after 12:30 PM of September 1, 2026.
