This announcement comes just days after allegations surfaced regarding a paper leak in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate)—NEET (UG) 2026 examination. The NTA made this announcement through its official 'X' account.
"In continuation of its press release dated May 10, 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) wishes to inform candidates, parents, and the general public regarding the following decisions taken in connection with NEET (UG) 2026.
On May 8, 2026—in alignment with its commitment to the fair, secure, and reliable conduct of national examinations—the NTA had referred the matters under scrutiny to central agencies for independent verification and necessary action," the NTA tweeted.
