NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund: Fee Refund Portal Link Active, Deadline May 27 – Apply Now
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the window for claiming the fee refund for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 on May 22.

As stated in the official circular issued by the NTA in collaboration with the National Medical Commission (NMC), a separate platform has been made available for all those who are eligible for fee refund on the website of the official registration portal for NEET UG at neet.nta.nic.in. As per the notice, eligible candidates have to login to the official portal with their registered credentials and furnish bank details.
The re-examination is being conducted after the cancellation of the earlier NEET UG 2026 exam held on May 3 amid allegations of a paper leak and other irregularities. Over 22 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the re-test on June 21.
The NTA has made it very clear that there is a fixed time period for making use of the portal. As per the information, the online process which was made available from 22nd May will work till 27th May till 11:50 PM.
There is an important warning issued by the NTA regarding the accuracy of the information. After providing all the banking details in the portal, the data entered will become permanent.

Required Documents and Details
To ensure a seamless transaction and eliminate errors, candidates are required to fill out specific banking details. The mandatory fields include:

Additionally, the NTA has provided an optional provision allowing candidates to upload a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque to verify the accuracy of the account details and avoid transaction failures.
Warning Against Bank Chargebacks
NTA has clearly warned candidates as well as parents against raising a ‘chargeback’ complaint with their banks with respect to the NEET UG 2026 exam fee.
