NEET UG 2026 PwD Scribe Portal Open: Submit Details by April 21 - Direct Link & Steps

The NEET UG 2026 examination is approaching. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the portal for candidates with disabilities (PwD/PwBD) to submit details regarding their scribes. The deadline for submitting scribe details is 11:50 PM on April 21, 2026.

If you are a candidate with a disability and have opted to bring your own scribe, do not delay—apply now.

This portal is not intended for all NEET UG 2026 candidates. It is specifically for candidates with disabilities (PwD) and candidates with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) who, while filling out the NEET UG 2026 application form, had chosen the option to bring a scribe with them.

Only eligible candidates will see the "Register Scribe Details" button on their home page after logging in. Candidates who did not select this option during the application process will not be permitted to utilize this facility.

Why Was This Portal Launched?

This step has been taken in compliance with the directives of the Court. It aligns with the provisions made within the online application form, under which candidates with disabilities were permitted to select their own scribe (writer) after the notification regarding the examination venue had been issued.

The NTA has taken action to ensure that all eligible candidates are provided with a fair opportunity to register their scribe's details prior to the examination.

How to Submit Scribe Details — Step-by-Step

Step 1: Visit the official portal at examinationservices.nic.in.

Step 2: Log in using your Application Number and Password.

Step 3: On your Candidate Home Page, click on the "Register Scribe Details" button.

Step 4: Select your preferred scribe option from the available choices.

Step 5: Carefully and accurately fill in all the necessary details pertaining to the scribe.

Step 6: Review all details before submitting — once submitted, they cannot be casually modified.

Step 7: Click on "Submit" — the information will appear in the "View Application Form" section located on the left side of your dashboard, as well as on the confirmation page.

Important: The NTA has explicitly advised that submitted details cannot be modified without providing a valid reason. Ensure that all entered information is 100% accurate before submitting.

Important Warnings from the NTA

The NTA has issued several clear warnings that every eligible candidate must keep in mind.

Do not wait until the last moment. The deadline of April 21st is final and will not be extended. Double-check all scribe details before submitting. Once submitted, making changes will not be easy. Keep checking nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.in for any updates or notifications.
