NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam: Nationwide Mock Drill Begins Ahead of June 21 Test

NEET UG re-exam will be held on June 21, 2 pm to 5:15 pm in India as well as abroad. The examination will be conducted through the pen and paper mode in 551 cities of India as well as in 14 cities internationally with a total of 22.79 lakh candidates appearing for the same. Prior to the examination, the authorities have conducted a mock drill at all the national levels for the safety of conducting the medical entrance examination.

There is increased monitoring, less entry point and enhanced patrolling in the region for safeguarding the control centre that will monitor the entire exam process in real-time of the nation.

The senior officials have stated that the mock run has been conducted by the officials so that everyone will know his or her responsibility on the day of the exam. This will help local administration, police and other related people coordinate during the process.

The authorities have used machine verifications for the identity of the candidates and have increased the security in and around the exam centres. The mobile signals are being jammed for preventing any kind of cheating on the part of the candidates. All the honest and sincere candidates will be able to give the test without any problem and the NEET UG test centres would be secure for them.
