NEET UG Counselling 2025 Last Date Today for Re-Extended Registration – Check Details

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the closure of the reopened registration window for the first round of NEET UG counselling 2025 today, August 6, 2025. Candidates can apply till 3 pm on mcc.nic.in. Candidates who have not applied yet have the last chance today.

The reset registration facility will be available till 12 noon today, while the last date for fee payment has been fixed till 6 pm today. Also, the choice filling and locking facility will remain open till 8 am on August 7.

However, a notice has been issued on the official website of MCC, stating that the choice filling and locking process of Round-1 has been put on hold for the time being. Candidates are advised to log in to their personal dashboard for more details.

The result of seat allotment for the first round will be declared on August 9, 2025. After this, the selected candidates will have to report to their respective colleges from August 9 to August 18. The reporting process will include document verification and filling of admission forms.

Due to the extension in the dates of the first round, it is possible that the schedule of the second and upcoming counseling rounds may also change. As per the original schedule, the registration for the second round was to start from August 12. In such a situation, candidates are advised to regularly visit the mcc.nic.in website for further information.

NEET UG counseling is conducted for 15 percent of MBBS and BDS seats of All India Quota (AIQ). Apart from this, it also includes 100 percent seats of AIIMS institutes across the country, seats of JIPMER (Puducherry/Karaikal), AMU, BHU and colleges affiliated to DU/IP University. 100 percent seats of Faculty of Dentistry of Jamia Millia Islamia and 5 percent internal quota seats also come under this process. Also, 15 percent of ESIC IP quota seats are also a part of MCC counselling.
