The second round of counselling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 is being conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). In this round, seats will be allotted for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing programmes.

The choice filling and locking process for Round 2 has been extended and the new dates will be updated soon on the official website mcc.nic.in.

This time a total of 13,501 vacant seats, 7,088 virtual vacant seats and 1,134 new MBBS and BDS seats have been made available in the second round of NEET UG counselling 2025. This has created more opportunities for students to get admission in good medical colleges.

The NEET UG counselling 2025 conducted by MCC is for 15% of the All India Quota seats. Apart from this, 100% seats of AMU, BHU, JMI and ESIC are also included in MCC counseling. At the same time, state-level counseling is conducted separately, which is based on 85% seats of government medical colleges and 100% seats of private colleges.

NEET UG Counselling 2025: Registration Process for Round 2

Candidates can register by following the following steps:

Visit the official website of MCC to register and pay the fee.
Fill the choices and lock them.
Wait for seat allocation by MCC.
Report to the allotted medical/dental college.
If seats remain vacant, their list will be released.
