The second round of counseling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 is going to start from 29 August 2025.
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has given a big relief to the medical students this time by increasing the number of MBBS seats.
This will also give a chance to those candidates who could not get the desired college or course in the first round.
The registration process in Round 2 counseling will be completely online. Candidates have to register by visiting the official website of MCC by the prescribed date. After registration, it is necessary to pay the fees, only then the process of choice filling and locking will be completed.
Only those candidates will be able to participate in this round who did not accept the seat in the first round or resigned.
With the increase in the number of MBBS seats, students will have a better opportunity to get admission in medical colleges.
This time new seats have been added in both government and private medical colleges. Experts believe that with the increase in seats, even the students at the bottom of the merit list can get a chance to get admission in a good college.
