National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate Result (NEET UG Result 2022) today, 7th September. Medical candidates can check the result on the official website - neet.nta.nic.in. Apart from NEET result, NTA also released NEET final answer key UG and individual scorecard, cut-off and all India rank.

NTA has already issued the NEET answer key. Candidates could send feedback and raise grievances against the answer key of NEET till September 2. The NEET UG paper comprised -- Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Each subject consisted of two sections. Section A had 35 questions and Section B 15. Out of the 15 questions in Section B, candidates had to attempt any 10 questions.

NEET UG 2022 Result: Check Marking Scheme

As per the NEET UG marking scheme, four marks will be awarded to candidates for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. And if a question is left unanswered no marks will be added.

NEET UG 2022 Result: Passing Marks

Candidates must secure at least 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. And for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Caste (OBC) category candidates the pass percentage is 40 per cent.

NEET 2022: How To Calculate Marks With Negative Marking

Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1)
Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0)
If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.

On the Home Page, click ‘NEET 2022 Result’ under Latest Announcement
On the next window enter credentials including NTA NEET application number and date of birth
Click and access the NEET 2022 result.
Download NEET UG 2022 scorecard, take a printout for further reference.
