NMAT 2026 Dates Announced: Registration Begins August 20; Check Complete Schedule

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has released the full exam schedule for NMAT 2026. Registration for NMAT by GMAC 2026 will start from August 20 to October 10, 2026.

NMAT 2026 examination will be held from November 2 to December 20, 2026. Students wishing to take part in the management entrance test should ensure that they have registered and booked their slots by the stipulated date.

NMAT 2026 Important Dates

As per the given schedule, candidates have the option to schedule their NMAT 2026 test between August 20 and October 22. The rescheduling window shall stay open till December 17, 2026.

For those candidates wishing to attempt the NMAT test again, registration and scheduling for NMAT retake is available from November 3 to December 17, 2026.

GMAC has recommended that the candidates register for the exam as soon as possible. The NMAT by GMAC exam slots will be given on the basis of first-come-first served basis.

Getting a slot in advance can increase the probability of getting the desired test slot and timing.

The candidates need to keep in mind that registering for the NMAT by GMAC exam is just one of the steps in the MBA admissions process.

Each aspirant needs to apply individually to the business schools of his or her choice. Each participating institute has different eligibility requirements, deadlines, and NMAT score acceptance policy.

NMAT Registration Fees 2026

For NMAT 2026, the NMAT 2026 exam application fee is Rs 3,000 + taxes. If candidates apply for a second attempt, they will also be required to pay an extra Rs 3,000 + taxes.

The NMAT rescheduling fee is Rs 1,200 + taxes. In case candidates require sending their scores to more than five business schools, then Rs 400 will be charged per score report.

Candidates can pay the NMAT application fee through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit cards, internet banking and Diners Club.

NMAT 2026 Registration and Slot Booking

The candidates must take care that they register for NMAT 2026 way before October 10th. It is also advisable that they get themselves registered in advance so that they don't miss out on any seats due to less availability close to the date.

However, it is important to keep in mind that registering for NMAT does not mean that the candidate has applied for admission to an MBA institute. For each institute he wishes to join, he will have to fill out separate forms for admission.

The candidate must make sure to verify the eligibility conditions and NMAT cut-off criteria of his chosen colleges before applying.
