QS Executive MBA Rankings 2024 : IIM Bangalore Regains Top Position Among Indian Business Schools

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) today released its 2024 QS Executive MBA Ranking, naming Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) as India's top business school. IIM Bangalore has improved its global standing, ranking 41st worldwide, up two places from last year. Indian School of Business (ISB) follows closely behind, though it slipped to the '101-110' range from its previous 100th spot.

IIM Kozhikode and Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad secured the third and fourth positions, respectively, ranked within the '171-180' range. IIM Indore and Woxsen School of Business round out the top six, placed in the '181+' category.

This achievement highlights India's growing prominence in executive business education, doubling its representation in the rankings year after year.

Executive MBA programs are pivotal in cultivating global professional networks. Leading programs prioritize international diversity, career outcomes, and high-quality intake.

Global Rankers

Globally, Oxford (Said) Business School claimed the top spot, rising from third place, while last year's leader, HEC Paris, fell to third. IESE Business School and MIT (Sloan) maintained second and fourth places respectively. London Business School entered the top five, advancing from seventh.

Penn (Wharton), previously fifth, slid to sixth, while IE Business School dropped to tenth from sixth. Northwestern (Kellogg) and Yale School of Management improved to seventh and eighth from 11th and 13th respectively. INSEAD slipped from eighth to ninth.

This edition of the QS ranking covers 194 of the world's best executive MBA programs across 45 countries and territories.
