Suspense Over JEE Mains & NEET 2021 Exam is Likely to End Soon : Read the Updates from Education Minister

Suspense over JEE Mains and NEET 2021 entrance exam is likely to end soon. The ministry of education will soon review the situation to decide whether the two remaining exams of JEE and NEET-UG 2021 should be conducted or not. 

"A review meeting is likely to be conducted soon to decide on the schedule of the pending editions of JEE-Mains and whether NEET-UG can be conducted on August 1," a source said.

These changes came just after one day when the CBSE exam for class 12th was announced to be canceled in view of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Now it is expected that suspense over the entrance exam conductions for Engineering and medical will end soon.

From this session, the JEE Mains exam was scheduled to be conducted four times to offer flexibility to students and a chance to work on the learnings to improve the scores. The two phases of JEE Mains have been conducted successfully in February and followed by March. And the third & fourth phase of the exam were scheduled in April and May. However due to a spike in COVID-19 cases during the second wave of the pandemic the exam were postponed. 

Last week the JEE Advanced Exam was also postponed which was scheduled for 3 July, 2021, JEE Advanced exam is to get admission in most prestigious engineering colleges of India Such as IIT (Indian Institute of Technology).

The center is also yet to decide on the conduct of CUCET, which is the Central University Common Entrance Test.
