TANCET 2026 Counselling Registration Open; Apply by June 30 - Check Full Details

TANCET counselling registration for MBA and MCA programs is now live! The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, opened the portal on June 4 for those who passed the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. Students can apply through the TANCET counselling 2026 application form on tn-mbamca.com until June 30, 2026. Then, on July 15, 2026, they'll release the rank list.

When you register, make sure to upload all necessary certificates. Application fees are Rs 800 for general category applicants and Rs 400 for reserved category candidates. For the general counselling session, go online. But differently-abled candidates in the special reservation category have to attend the counselling in person at GCT, Coimbatore, along with those for supplementary counselling and SCA-to-SC conversion counselling.

TANCET 2026 seat allotment process

When a candidate gets a seat during the allotment process, four options pop up: Accept and Join, Accept and Upward, Decline and Upward, and Decline and Quit. The candidate needs to confirm their seat within two days of being allotted. Failing to do so means the seat will be cancelled.

If candidates don't want to attend the allocated college after online counselling, they can ask for a refund. This gives them 80% of their initial counselling fee back, but the request has to reach the authorities by December 31, 2026.
