Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda has officially released the TG ICET 2026 notification on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE). The Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET) 2026 is conducted for admission into MBA and MCA programmes across all universities in Telangana State for the academic year 2026-27.

The TG ICET 2026 registration process will begin on February 12, 2026. Candidates who want to pursue MBA or MCA from Telangana universities can apply through the official website — icet.tgche.ac.in. TG ICET 2026 Application Fee
The application fee for TG ICET 2026 varies based on the candidate's category.

TG ICET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates must check if they meet the eligibility requirements for TG ICET 2026.
General Eligibility:
- The candidate must be an Indian National.
- The candidate should satisfy the local status requirements as per Telangana Government rules.
- Candidates who've passed any Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification can apply.
- Candidates who've completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
Eligibility for MBA Programme:
- The candidate must have passed a Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration.
- Accepted degrees include B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BBM, BCA, B.E, B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, or any 3 or 4-year degree (except Oriental Languages).
Eligibility for MCA Programme:
- The candidate must have passed BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, or B.A with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level.

TG ICET 2026 Qualifying Marks
- The qualifying percentage for TG ICET 2026 is 25% (i.e., 50 marks out of 200 marks).
- For SC and ST candidates, no minimum qualifying marks are prescribed.
TG ICET 2026 Ranking Criteria
Candidates will receive state-wide ranks based on their merit in TG ICET 2026. In case of a tie (same marks), the ranking will be decided as follows:
- Marks scored in Section A (Analytical Ability) will be considered first.
- If the tie persists, marks obtained in Section B (Mathematical Ability) will be considered.
- If the tie still persists, priority will be given to the older candidate based on age.
Note: The rank obtained in TG ICET 2026 is valid only for the academic year 2026-27.

Here are some important points candidates must keep in mind.
- Merely qualifying in the entrance test doesn't guarantee admission to MBA or MCA programmes.
- Candidates won't be allowed to enter the exam hall after the scheduled time on the exam day.
- Candidates involved in impersonation will face prosecution with imprisonment of 3 to 7 years and a penalty ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹20,000.
- Candidates are advised to practice mock tests available on the official website to get familiar with the online exam pattern.
- If an SC/ST candidate's category claim is found invalid at any point, their rank obtained with relaxation will be cancelled.
