On August 12, the Ministry of Education released the 2024 edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). This is the ninth year the NIRF has come out. It ranks colleges and universities in India based on five main factors: Teaching, Learning, and Resources (TLR); Research and Professional Practices (RPC); Graduation Outcomes (GO); Outreach and Inclusivity (OI); and Perception (PER).

For the Management category this year, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is ranked first.

Uttar Pradesh has 11 colleges in the Management category, and the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is in 7th place. Check out the complete list below:

This year, 11 institutes from Uttar Pradesh have made it to the Management category list, one of the highest numbers from any state. These institutes are spread across the Top 100 ranks, making it easier for students to find their ideal choice. Among these, three institutes are in the top 30: Indian Institute of Management Lucknow at 7, and Amity University and Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur both at 29. Indian Institute of Management Lucknow: In the 2022-23 academic year, 591 students graduated from the 2-year PG program on time. They had a median salary of Rs 30 lakh.
Amity University: In the 2022-23 academic year, 792 students graduated from the 2-year PG program on time. Of these, 328 were placed with a median salary of Rs 6 lakh, and 65 students continued their studies.
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur: In the 2022-23 academic year, 39 students graduated from the 2-year PG program on time. Of these, 37 were placed with a median salary of Rs 17.25 lakh, and 2 students went on for higher studies.
