TS ICET 2026 Counselling Schedule Out: Dates, Eligibility,  Fee & How to Register

TGCHE (Telangana Council of Higher Education) has announced the schedule of counselling for TGICET 2026, which is an exam for admission in MBA & MCA programs in various universities and colleges of Telangana.

Those candidates who have passed TGICET 2026 are eligible to participate in the web-based counselling procedure. This includes online registration, making payments, slot booking, verification of certificates and web option entry.

Online filing of basic information, payment of fees and slot booking for the first phase will commence from July 31, 2026 to August 5, 2026.

The second phase is for candidates who missed the first one.

Try to fill in as many web options as you can. More choices mean better odds of getting a seat. Pick your colleges and courses carefully before you lock your preferences.

TS ICET Counselling 2026: Eligibility criteria

You need to meet these conditions to take part:

You must be an Indian citizen and meet the eligibility criteria for local or non-reserved category as per the norms laid down by the government of Telangana state. You must qualify TGICET 2026.

You must also secure at least 50% of aggregate marks in the qualifying degree. Reservation candidates must secure 45%.

For MBA program, you should have a valid bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years. For MCA program, you should have secured passing marks in BCA, BSc, BCom or BA in mathematics.

Degrees earned from Open and Distance Learning system would be considered valid only if recognized by the competent authorities.

85% of seats would be reserved for candidates belonging to O.U. locality. Rest of 15% of seats would be available for all qualified candidates.

Age limit for scholarship is 30 years for OC candidates and 34 years for reservation candidates up to 1st July 2026.

TGICET 2026 qualification does not guarantee admission. You must also fulfill other conditions specified by the authorities.

Documents Required for Certificate Verification

Carry the original documents plus two sets of photocopies:

• TGICET 2026 Rank card
• TGICET 2026 Hall Ticket
• Aadhar Card
• Marks Memo of SSC or its equivalent
• Marks Memo and Certificate of Intermediate or its equivalent
• Marks Memo of Degree
• Provisional Degree Certificate
• Study/Bonafide certificates from class 9th to Degree level
• Transfer Certificate (TC)
• Income Certificate dated from January 1, 2026, if any
• EWS Certificate for 2026-27, if any
• Integrated Community Certificate, if any
• Any other document as per category

How to register

• Go to the official TGICET counselling portal.
• Log in with your TGICET 2026 registration number, hall ticket number and date of birth.
• Then fill in the details asked for.
• This includes your Aadhaar number, mobile number, email address and certificate details, wherever they apply.
