The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has opened the registration window for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026. Students seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programs at VIT can now apply online at viteee.vit.ac.in. The last date to submit the application form is March 31, 2026.
The VITEEE 2026 will be held as a computer-based test (CBT) from April 28 to May 3, 2026. The exam will be conducted for admission to B.Tech programs across VIT campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amaravati.

VITEEE 2026 Exam Pattern
The exam will last for 2 hours and 30 minutes and include 125 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The subject-wise distribution is as follows:

Mathematics / Biology: 40 questions

Physics: 35 questions
-
Chemistry: 35 questions
-
Aptitude: 10 questions
-
English: 5 questions
Each correct answer carries 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. Unanswered questions will not receive any marks. The paper will be conducted only in English.

Applicants born on or after July 1, 2004 are eligible to apply.
