WBBSE Madhyamik 2027 Date Sheet Released — Check West Bengal Class 10 Exam Timetable

WBBSE announces the Madhyamik (Class 10) exam schedule for 2027. According to the official notice, WBBSE will conduct the board exams for West Bengal Class 10 students from 15 February 2027 to 25 February 2027.

There will only be one subject every day. The time allotted for every exam is 10:45 am and the initial 15 minutes i.e., 10:45 am to 11 am, are designated for reading the question paper. The exam for most theory papers ends at 2 pm while there is an exception in case of some optional subjects.

The board has declared that the dates for the examination of Physical Education, Social Service, Work Education and practical exams will be notified separately.

First Language and Second Language: What You'll Appear For

First Language: The first language paper includes Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Tibetan (Modern), Nepali, Odia, Punjabi (Gurumukhi), Telugu, Tamil and Urdu or Santali.

Second Language: The second language pattern is quite straightforward. If you choose any language other than English as your first language, then you write in English, but if you have chosen English as your first language, then you will write either Bengali or Nepali.

Madhyamik 2027 Optional Subjects: Exam Timings

The time for the optional papers is not fixed throughout. The difference is as follows:

Music (Vocal and Instrumental)	10:45 am – 1 pm
Computer Application	10:45 am – 1:30 pm
Vocational Subjects	10:45 am – 12:30 pm
All other optional elective subjects	10:45 am – 2 pm

Practical exams for Computer Application and Vocational Subjects will be held separately. These will be conducted by the schools or by the concerned Sector Skill Council.
