West Bengal board to reduce Class 10th Syllabus For Madhyamik Exam 2022. The reduction in the syllabus can be between 30 to 35 per cent. The board has taken this decision because last year the classes were affected a lot because of COVID-19. Even though the online classes were not accessible to all the students as much as they should be.

Therefore the decision has been taken, and this reduction in the syllabus will be for all seven subjects. Those students who will appear in the West Bengal Class 10th Board Exam in 2022 will be able to give the examination as per the reduced syllabus.

The decision has been brought to the knowledge of headmasters, teachers, and students of all affiliated schools, the statement said.

A headmaster who runs a school in West Bengal said, students were facing difficulties due to the suspension of offline classes, and online classes were less than the requirement for an average student to complete the entire syllabus.
