West Bengal NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result Released — Round 2 Registration Soon

West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC) has declared the NEET UG 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result today, 23 August 2025, on its official website wbmcc.nic.in. Candidates can check the revised provisional merit list in the "Download" column by visiting the WBMCC portal.
Along with this, the committee has also released reporting and admission guidelines for the candidates selected in Round 1. Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to report to the designated institutions with their original documents, prescribed fee and bond to confirm admission.
The admission process of candidates selected in private medical colleges will be completed in various government medical colleges of Kolkata.
WB NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Reporting Schedule
- August 23: 12 noon to 5 pm
- August 25 to 26: 10 am to 4 pm (as per server time)
WB NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Counselling Schedule
The committee has clarified that there will be no change in the counselling dates for Round 2. The major schedules are as follows:
- Online registration: August 27 to 29
- Verification: August 28 to 30
- Seat surrender at college level: August 30 (10 am to 2 pm)
- Publication of revised list and seat matrix: September 1
- Choice filling: September 1 to 3
- Seat allotment result: September 8
- College reporting: September 9 to 11
Earlier this week, WBMCC had suddenly halted the counselling and admission process two days after publishing the revised merit list. Four days later, the committee again released the revised list, allowing 11,178 eligible candidates to fill the choices.
Further, in a separate notice, WBMCC has clarified that the admission kiosk for Sanaka Institute of Dental Sciences will not operate at its campus but at Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College and Hospital, Kolkata.
