JEE Main Registration Fee and Last Date

JEE Main Registration 2020 for January session will start from September 2 by National Testing Agency (NTA). The application form of JEE Main Registration will be available online for both papers I (BE/B.Tech) and Paper-II (B. Arch) from September 2, 2019, onwards. JEE main registration the last date for January Session is September 30, 2019. For JEE Main 2020 April Session, registration will start from February 7, 2020, and the JEE Main registration last date to apply for the same is March 7, 2020.

The application form process will include JEE Mains registration, uploading of documents and scanned images, JEE Main application form filling, JEE Mains 2020 registration fee and take a printout of the application form. For JEE Main 2020 registration, students must check the eligibility criteria as directed by the authority. The JEE Main 2020 registration fees can be paid in online (debit/credit/net banking) and offline (e-challan) modes. Students who wish to appear in the examination, have to complete their JEE Main registrations 2020 by September 30, 2019. JEE Main 2020 application form correction facility will also be available on the website for students (including EWS category) who want to edit/change/rectify details in their application form.

JEE Main registration weblink 2020 for January & April session will be out with the publishing of the official notification. For the students will get the JEE Main Registration link active on 2nd September 2019. The JEE Main registration last date to applies online is 30th September 2019. How to fill JEE Main Registration Form 2020? 

• Visit the official website
• Verify your Aadhar card details

• Now submit the scanned copy of the needed documents

NTA has reduced the registration fee for various categories, compared to the last year.

1. To pay through online mode: Use Debit Card or Credit Card of ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank or Syndicate Bank (PAYTM/SBI Buddy Wallet/Cash Cards).

2. To pay through offline mode: Just download the e-challan and deposit the fee to the nearest ICICI Bank/Syndicate Bank/Canara Bank.

JEE Main Registration Form Process?

The JEE Main 2020 Registration form for January session will be available tentatively from September 2, 2019, while for the April session, it will be accessible tentatively in the second week of February 2020. Students must register before they can fill the JEE Main Registration form. The following steps can be checked to understand how to fill the Registration form of JEE Main 2020.

1. JEE Main Registration: This is the primary step in the JEE Main application process. The registration link will be active on our website. Students will have to enter the following details to fill the JEE Main application form 2020:

•     State of Eligibility
•     Students Name
•     Identification Type 
•     Identification ID
•     Students Name
•     Date of Birth
•     Gender
•     Security Pin

Note: For the April session, students who had applied for JEE Main 2020 January session will be capable to use the same credentials for registration.

2. Filling of Registration Form of JEE Main: After successful registration, students can move to process the JEE Main application form 2020. The following details have to be submitted by students:

• Examination Related Details: Students will have to select their choice of paper such as JEE Main Paper 1, Paper 2 or both. The preferred choice of language like English, Hindi, Gujarati for the examination must also be selected.
• Personal Information: Next, the students will have to give personal details such as name, name of mother and father, category, a person with a disability or not etc.
• Academic Details: Students will have to provide information about their performance in 10th and 12th class qualifying examination including pass percentage, school details, roll numbers, if applicable.
• Communication Information: Details about the student's address has to be given. The details have to match with the information in the Aadhaar card.
• Guardian Details: Information about the student's guardian/parents such as their annual income, occupation, qualification and more has to be given.
• Selection of Exam Centres: Four cities have to be selected by the students in the order of preference. from the provided list of exam centres.

JEE Main Registration Form Important Info:

• Multiple Registration forms submitted by students will be rejected by NTA.

• The final submission of the online registration form will remain incomplete if Step 2 and Step 3 are not completed. Such forms will be rejected and no requests related to this will be considered.

• No request for JEE Main Registration refund fee (full/partial), once paid by the students, will be considered. 

• The whole JEE Main registration process is online, including uploading of scanned images, payment of fees and printing of confirmation page. Therefore, students are not needed to send/submit any document(s) including the confirmation page to NTA through Post or Fax.

• The fees may be paid either by credit/ debit card/ net banking or e-challan generated during the online filling of the registration form using online payment gateway facility in State Bank of India. Please note that fees submitted by any other method like money order, demand draft and IPO will be rejected.

NTA will provide students with an option to check their progress related to JEE Main registration form on the official website. The “Application Form Progress” feature will be available on the left corner of the JEE Main window.
