BITSAT Cutoff 2026: Pilani CSE Reaches 308 Marks, Check 3-Year Cutoff Trend

BITS Pilani University has announced the cutoff scores of BITSAT 2026 for admission into different first-degree programs at its campuses located in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.

The BITSAT cutoff is the minimum score needed to join the specified program. As per the latest cutoff figures, most sought-after programs have witnessed an increment from 2025. However, the cutoff scores of 2026 are less than those of 2024.

In the case of the BITS Pilani Pilani Campus, the B.E. Computer Science program has recorded an increase in the cutoff from 304 marks in 2025 to 308 marks in 2026. Although there is a rise, yet the score is less than the past years' cutoffs of 327 marks in 2024 and 331 marks in 2023.

The BITSAT 2026 exam will award a maximum score of 390 marks.

The year-wise cutoff comparison for major programmes at BITS Pilani shows that scores increased in 2026 after falling in 2025.

BITS Pilani CSE Cutoff Increases by 4 Marks in 2026

The B.E. Computer Science programme at BITS Pilani continues to have one of the highest closing scores among all programmes.

The cutoff trend for Pilani CSE is:

• 2023: 331 marks

• 2024: 327 marks

• 2025: 304 marks

• 2026: 308 marks

The 2026 cutoff is:

• 4 marks higher than 2025

• 19 marks lower than 2024

• 23 marks lower than 2023

This shows that the Pilani CSE cutoff has improved compared with last year but has not reached the higher levels recorded in 2023 and 2024.

BITSAT Cutoff 2026: ECE and EEE Programmes Also See Improvement

Popular electronic courses at the Pilani campus too witnessed an increase in cutoff scores in 2026.

B.E. Electronics & Communication saw an increase in cutoff from 285 marks in 2025 to 289 marks in 2026. However, the cutoff is lower than the 2024 cutoff of 314 marks and also lower than the 2023 cutoff of 296 marks.

Likewise, the B.E. Electrical & Electronics cutoff saw an increase from 260 marks in 2025 to 266 marks in 2026. The cutoff is lower than the 2024 cutoff of 292 marks but still near to the 2023 cutoff of 272 marks.

There was an increase in the B.E. Electronics & Instrumentation course as well, with the cutoff going up from 250 marks in 2025 to 261 marks in 2026.

BITSAT 2026 Cutoff Trend for Core Engineering Programmes

Core engineering programmes at BITS Pilani also recorded higher cutoffs compared with 2025.

Chemical Engineering

The cutoff for B.E. Chemical Engineering increased from 210 marks in 2025 to 226 marks in 2026. The 2026 cutoff is:

• 16 marks higher than 2025

• 2 marks higher than 2023

• 21 marks lower than 2024

Civil Engineering

The B.E. Civil Engineering cutoff increased from 206 marks in 2025 to 222 marks in 2026. The 2026 score is:

• 16 marks higher than 2025

• 9 marks higher than 2023

• 16 marks lower than 2024

Mechanical Engineering

The cutoff for B.E. Mechanical Engineering moved from 235 marks in 2025 to 239 marks in 2026. However, the 2026 score remains below the previous cutoffs of:

• 266 marks in 2024

• 244 marks in 2023

According to the BITSAT 2026 cutoff data, the majority of the programs have witnessed an increment after witnessing a decrease in the year 2025. This increment can be observed in the programs related to computer science, electronics and core engineering.

But the cutoff score is yet to reach its highest point which was witnessed in the years 2023 and 2024. The candidates can utilize the information regarding the cutoff scores of past years to assess their admission prospects during the counseling period.
