The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) has issued a warning to CAT 2024 aspirants about fake websites pretending to be the official CAT 2024 site.

In a recent notice, IIM Calcutta announced that the “CAT Centre has become aware of a fraudulent website posing as the official CAT registration site, aiming to steal personal information from applicants.”

All applicants and stakeholders are strongly advised to be cautious and only visit the official website to avoid falling victim to scams that mimic the official CAT website. The correct and official website for CAT 2024 is iimcat.ac.in. No other site should be used for CAT applications or admit cards. To ensure you’re on the right website, keep the following tips in mind:

Always check the URL to confirm it’s the official CAT website.
Be cautious of unsecured websites asking for personal information or payments.
Report any suspicious websites to the CAT help desk at cat2024_helpdesk@iimcal.ac.in.

The Common Admission Test 2024 (CAT 2024) will be a computer-based exam scheduled for November 24, with three sessions. The registration process began on August 1 at 10 am and will close on September 13 at 3 pm. Candidates must have a valid and unique email and mobile number throughout the selection process.

After registration, IIM Calcutta will issue admit cards from November 5 to 24. The CAT 2024 results are expected to be announced in the second week of January 2025.

CAT is essential for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow/Doctorate programs at IIMs. Additionally, non-IIM institutions listed on the CAT website can use CAT scores for admissions. Last year, 91 non-IIM institutions accepted CAT scores for their management programs.
