The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams (theory) on February 15, 2025. The board will release the admit cards for these exams on the Pariksha Sangam portal at cbse.gov.in.

How to Collect CBSE Admit Cards

Admit cards will be released school-wise. Students cannot download individual admit cards from the CBSE website. Instead, schools will download the admit cards and give them to students.

Steps for Schools to Download Admit Cards

Visit cbse.gov.in.
Open the Pariksha Sangam portal.
Click "Continue" on the next page.
Choose Schools (Ganga).
Go to Pre-exam activities.
Open the Admit Card, Centre Material Link for the 2025 main exams.
Enter school login details and download the admit cards.

Important Exam Dates for CBSE 2025

Class 10 exams: Start on February 15, ending on March 18.
Class 12 exams: Also start on February 15, finishing on April 4.
Both exams will be conducted in a single shift, beginning at 10:30 AM.

CBSE Exam Datesheet & Student Preparation

CBSE has made sure there is enough time between exams, especially for subjects students typically choose together. The board has created the datesheet with more than 40,000 subject combinations, ensuring that no two subjects are scheduled on the same day.

This year, CBSE has announced the theory exam dates 86 days in advance, which is the earliest ever. This gives students extra time to prepare.

Number of Students Appearing for CBSE 2025 Exams

About 44 lakh students from over 8,000 schools in India and abroad will take the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams in 2025.

CBSE Practical Exams

Winter-bound schools: Practical exams took place from November 5 to December 5, 2024.
Other schools: Practical exams started on January 1, 2025.
