In accordance with this advisory, the CBSE has urged parents, students, schools, and all concerned stakeholders to remain vigilant during the examination period and not be misled by unverified news/rumors or fake news on various social media platforms.
The Board has also assured all students, parents, and teachers that, as in previous years, robust arrangements and strict measures have been put in place to ensure the smooth, safe, and fair conduct of the Board examinations.

The official notice reads, "The Board assures all stakeholders that, as in previous years, robust arrangements and strict measures have been put in place to ensure the smooth, safe, and fair conduct of the Board examinations. Any attempt to spread misinformation or disrupt the examination process will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the rules and regulations in force by the Board."

Students and parents should be aware of common patterns used in fake paper leak messages. Here are some signs that a message is likely fake.

The CBSE Class 10 board exams will begin on February 17 and end on March 11, 2026, and the Class 12 board exams will begin on February 17 and end on April 10, 2026. The exams will be conducted in a single shift from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
There is no Class 10 exam today. For Class 12, papers in Engineering Graphics, Dance, Horticulture, and Cost Accounting will be conducted. Candidates can visit the CBSE's official website for more details.
