CBSE Board Exams 2025 Update : Psycho-Social Counselling Begins from Feb 1 for Class 10, 12

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin its counselling service for Classes 10 and 12 on February 1. This free service is meant to support students during exams. It will be available twice: once during exams and again after the results are announced.

The first phase of counselling for the 2025 academic session will continue until April 4. The main goal is to help students reduce exam stress and prepare for the theory exams, which start on February 15.

CBSE Exams 2025: Features of Counselling Services

Students can call the toll-free number 1800-11-8004 for help. The service is available in both Hindi and English, 24/7. Students can get tips on exam preparation, managing stress, and answers to common questions.

A team of 66 trained professionals, including principals, counsellors, and psychologists from CBSE schools, will support students. They will be available from Monday to Saturday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Out of the 66 counsellors, 51 are based in India, while 15 are from countries like Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and UAE.

Podcasts and Videos

Students can also access helpful podcasts and videos on topics like stress management, exam strategies, and mental health. These resources will be available on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE encourages both students and parents to make full use of these services to feel more confident and reduce stress before the 2025 exams.
