The session focused on helping schools, students and parents understand the examination-related procedures.
The webinar, titled “Relevance of Registration & LOC”, was held at the CBSE Integrated Office in Dwarka, New Delhi. It followed the Board's circulars on LOC submission for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2027 and the correction of students' demographic details.
CBSE Board Exams 2027: Registration and LOC Process
The CBSE officials during the webinar pointed out the need to enter accurate data about the students while registering for LOC.
Students' details must be verified and any discrepancies in the details sorted before the examinations, which can prevent any problem during the later stages of the examinations.
CBSE has initiated the LOC process for Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2027 and also registration for students of Class 9 and 11 shortly.
These registrations and LOC procedures will include students of more than 32,000 CBSE affiliated schools in India and another 26 countries.
CBSE Webinar 2027: Questions Discussed
A live Q&A session was also conducted on the webinar. Officials from CBSE answered queries posed by school principals and teachers.
Issues addressed included various facets of the examination process such as:
- Student information correction
- Choice of subjects/subject change
- LOC data submission and verification
- Registration of Class 9 and Class 11 candidates
- Fee-related provisions
- Examination related procedures
Controller of Examination also made a presentation on some of the important aspects of the registration and LOC process.
CBSE Advises Schools to Verify Student Details
CBSE stressed on the fact that students' details must be provided accurately along with proper time frame.
Schools must be careful about their students' information and subject combination while providing LOC information. CBSE also put emphasis on the fee structure as well.
CBSE also drew attention towards the guidelines that must be adhered to when Children With Special Needs (CWSN) are registered and examined.
Schools must ensure that latest instructions by CBSE are strictly followed while providing any information.
