CBSE Class 12 Scanned Answer Sheet Link Active by 2 PM Today - Official Notice

There were some technical issues with the CBSE Class 12 scanned answer sheet application website, but the board has released an official statement saying that the website will be operational from 02:00 PM onwards today. The deadline for the applications has been extended till May 23, 2026, owing to the above reason.

In a new circular issued on Wednesday, the Board stated, "The online application process for submitting requests to obtain scanned copies of Class 12 answer sheets is currently experiencing technical glitches." The Board further added that "a team of experts is working to resolve this issue" and that "the application facility is expected to become operational by 2:00 PM today."

The Board also clarified that students seeking scanned copies for the purpose of grievance redressal should be accorded priority once the portal resumes operations. In the circular, CBSE stated, "To ensure priority for students seeking scanned copies of their answer sheets for grievance redressal, they are requested to avail themselves of this facility first as soon as the portal becomes active again."

The notice is made one day after the CBSE decided to extend the last date of application for scanned versions of evaluated answer sheets till May 23, 2026, due to numerous complaints from students and parents about technical problems such as login issues, payment problems, and server speed.

This year, CBSE has also reduced the fees for post-result services. The fee for obtaining scanned copies of evaluated answer sheets has been reduced from ₹700 to ₹100 per subject. The verification fee has also been lowered from ₹500 to ₹100, while the re-evaluation fee has been reduced from ₹100 per question to ₹25 per question.

Once the application window becomes active again, students can apply for scanned copies, verification, and re-evaluation services through the official CBSE portal.
