CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 Datesheet Released: Check Schedule, UFM Rules and Guidelines

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 datesheet on July 17. According to the official schedule, the supplementary examinations for all Senior Secondary subjects will be held on a single day, July 28, 2026.

The datesheet was issued by CBSE Controller of Examinations Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj. Students appearing for the examination must carefully follow all exam-day instructions issued by the board.

Candidates must carry their admit cards to the examination centre. Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators and other electronic communication devices won’t be allowed inside the examination hall.

CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 Schedule

Most CBSE Class 12 supplementary examinations will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. However, some skill-based and elective subject papers will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Students will also get an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper before writing the examination.

The vocational subjects scheduled from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm include Retail, Information Technology, Web Application, Automotive, Financial Market Management, Tourism, Beauty and Wellness, Agriculture, Food Production, Banking, Marketing, Health Care, Insurance, Electronics Technology, Business Administration, Mass Media Studies and Fashion Studies, among others.

CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026: Exam-Day Instructions

Students must reach their examination centres well before the reporting time. They should carry a printed copy of their CBSE Class 12 supplementary exam admit card for verification.

Candidates will receive the question paper 15 minutes before the examination begins. This time should only be used to read and understand the questions. Students won’t be allowed to start writing answers during the reading period.

CBSE has strictly prohibited mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators and other electronic communication devices inside the examination centre. Students should also avoid carrying any restricted or unauthorised material.

Candidates must follow the instructions mentioned on their admit cards and those announced by the examination centre authorities. They’re also expected to maintain discipline throughout the examination.

The duration of each paper will be mentioned on the official datesheet and the candidate’s admit card. Students should carefully check their subject code, examination timing and centre details before appearing for the exam.

CBSE UFM Rules for Supplementary Exam 2026

Students must follow CBSE’s Unfair Means (UFM) rules during the supplementary examination. Carrying unauthorised notes, electronic devices or written material may be treated as the use of unfair means.

Candidates shouldn’t communicate with other students, exchange answer sheets or seek assistance during the examination. Any violation of CBSE examination rules may lead to disciplinary action.

Students are advised to read all instructions printed on the question paper and answer book carefully. They should also follow the directions given by the invigilators inside the examination hall.

The CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026 will be conducted on July 28. Candidates should download their admit cards on time and prepare according to the official subject-wise schedule.
