CBSE Class 12th Board Exam Could be For 30 Minutes Only, Final Dates to be Announced on June 1st

All students are desperately waiting to hear the final dates of CBSE Class 12th Board Exam. Meanwhile, media reports suggested that CBSE Class 12th Exam could be for 30 minutes only. However, the final decision is not taken by officials yet. As per the earlier reports, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is expected to announce the final exam dates on 1st June.

On Sunday May 23, 2021, A decision was taken in a high level virtual meeting chaired by Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh with all the state’s education minister and secretaries. The decision was that the class 12th board exam will be held between July 15 and August 26 by following all the COVID related Safety protocols. And after that meeting The Education Minister had shared that he has requested all the states to send their detailed suggestions or feedback on the class 12th board exam.

In that meeting CBSE has proposed two options for conducting the board exam: either conduct the examination for only 20 Major subjects or to conduct the exam within 1.5 hours of time frame for all subjects at the student's own school.

Although as per the report of Aaj Tak, it seems that CBSE Class 12th Board Exam could be only for 30 minutes and the questions will be only Objective type. It is not an official announcement. Students are advised to wait for the official announcement which is expected to be on 1st June, 2021.
