CBSE has started the application process for obtaining scanned copies of answer sheets for the 2025 board exams. Students can now apply within the stipulated dates by visiting the official website. This facility has been provided to increase transparency and help understand the evaluation process.

This initiative is part of CBSE's re-evaluation process, which aims to give students an opportunity to review their evaluated answer sheets. If a student finds an error in the evaluation, he or she can apply for verification or re-evaluation of the answers. This promotes transparency and trust in the evaluation system.

This online facility of CBSE has been launched to increase transparency and ensure that the marks of students correctly reflect their actual performance. Class 10 and 12 students can now download scanned answer sheets, verify the marks and apply for re-evaluation within the stipulated time frame.

How to Apply for Scanned CBSE Answer Sheets?

To apply for scanned copies of answer sheets, students need to follow these steps:

Visit the official CBSE portal: Go to cbseit.in/cbse/web/rchk.
Login: Enter your roll number, date of birth and other required details.
Select 'Apply for Answer Sheet': Select the subjects for which you wish to receive scanned copies.
Make payment: Pay the applicable fee online through debit/credit card, net banking or other available modes.
Download copies: After processing, the scanned copies will be available in the student's login account for download and review.

Application Procedure for Verification of Marks:

After reviewing the scanned answer sheets, if you notice any errors such as discrepancy in total marks or unchecked questions, you can apply for verification by following the steps given below:

Log in to the official portal.
Select the “Apply for Verification” option for the respective subjects.
Pay ₹500 per subject.
The verification result will be notified online.

How to Request Re-evaluation of Specific Questions:

If even after verification you feel that some answers were not evaluated correctly, you can follow these steps:
After the verification process, select the “Apply for Re-evaluation” option on the portal.
Select the question numbers you want to get re-evaluated.
Pay ₹100 per question.

The board will re-check those answers and update the result by correcting the marks if required.
