Eligibility for Scholarship

The CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025 is only for girl students who are the only child of their parents and have scored 70% or more marks in the CBSE Class 10 examination. Furthermore, the girl student must be pursuing her studies in Class 11 or 12 at a CBSE-affiliated school. The scholarship will be awarded to girl students whose tuition fees do not exceed ₹2,500 per month and whose gross parental/family income does not exceed ₹8 lakh per year. This scheme is available only to Indian citizens.

Eligible Scholarships

Single Girl Child Scholarship – Class 10 (2025 Scheme): For girl students who passed Class 10 in 2025 and are currently studying in Class 11 in CBSE-affiliated schools.

Single Girl Child Scholarship – Class 10 2024 (Renewal in 2025): This renewal is for girl students who availed this scholarship in 2024.

Scholarship Duration and Renewal

According to CBSE, the scholarship is awarded for a period of one year. Renewal will depend on the student being promoted to the next class and securing 70% or more marks overall. Renewal requires receipt of the CBSE Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship in the previous year.
