The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha has revised the Odisha CHSE Time Table 2026, resulting in two important changes for Class 12 students. The examination for all Modern Indian Languages (except Odia), which was previously scheduled for March 11, 2026, will now be held on March 23, 2026. The examination scheduled for March 21, 2026, for all streams – Science, Commerce, and Arts – has been postponed to March 25, 2026.

The Odisha CHSE hall ticket 2026 will be released on December 15, 2025. The board released the Odisha CHSE exam dates through a press release. The Odisha CHSE exam 2026 will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Odisha CHSE Result 2026 and Odisha BSE Result 2026 will be released in May 2026. Around 4 lakh students appear for the Odisha CHSE board exam.

Odisha CHSE Exam Dates 2026: Passing Criteria

Students must score at least 30% marks, i.e., 24 out of 80 (30% of 80) in each subject to pass. For subjects carrying a total of 80 marks, 24 marks in the theory paper is the passing mark.

For subjects carrying a total of 100 marks, with 70 marks for the theory section and 30 marks for the practical section, the passing mark in the theory section is also 30% (21 out of 70).

Odisha CHSE Exam Dates 2026: Guidelines

Students should not carry the following items into the examination hall.

Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, pagers, fitness bands, cameras, etc.
Wallets, glasses, handbags, and purses.
They must carry all stationery items required to appear for the Odisha CHSE Board Exam, as sharing stationery is not allowed.
Don't forget to carry your Odisha CHSE admit card on all examination days.
