The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026 on November 17, 2025.

Candidates wishing to apply for the Common Management Admission Test can find the direct link through the official NTA CMAT website, cmat.nta.nic.in.

The NTA has confirmed that the application fee payment window will remain open until November 18, 2025, providing final relief to applicants who submit their forms today but need additional time to complete the process.

Following this, a brief correction window from November 20 to 21, 2025, will allow candidates to correct errors in their submitted forms, a crucial provision amid the increasing number of applications and frequent data-entry errors.

The exam will consist of 100 questions carrying 400 marks. The question paper will be divided into five sections – Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

CMAT 2026: How to Apply

Candidates can follow the steps below to apply online.

Visit the official NTA CMAT website at cmat.nta.nic.in.
Click on the CMAT 2026 registration link available on the home page.
A new page will open where candidates will be required to register themselves.
Once registered, fill out the application form.
Pay the application fee.
Click Submit and download the page.
Keep a hard copy for further reference.

The application fee for General Male candidates is ₹2500/-. The application fee for General Female, General-EWS/SC/ST/Divyang/Divyang/*OBC-(NCL) and third gender candidates is ₹1250/-. The fee must be paid online.

CMAT-2026 will be conducted by the NTA as a three-hour entrance exam in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to assess the ability of candidates in various areas such as Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship for admission to management courses in the academic session 2026-27.
