The registration process for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2026) has begun today. Candidates interested in appearing for the national-level MBA entrance exam can apply on the official website starting today.

The CMAT 2026 exam date has not yet been announced. It is expected to be announced after the CMAT 2026 application process concludes.

The national-level entrance exam will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) to select graduates for admission to management courses at participating universities.

The CMAT 2026 question paper will assess candidates' skills in quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship. There will be a total of 100 questions, carrying 800 marks.

Male candidates in the general category will have to deposit ₹2,500, and female candidates ₹1,250. General-EWS, SC, ST, differently-abled, and third gender candidates will also have to pay ₹1,250 as application fee.

CMAT 2026: Eligibility

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear for the CMAT 2026 exam.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Final-year undergraduate candidates whose results will be declared before admissions begin for the 2026-27 academic year can also apply for CMAT 2026.
Candidates must be citizens of India.
There is no age limit for CMAT 2026.

Register for the exam
After registration, login to fill the CMAT form
Fill in personal and academic details
Select test cities and upload passport-size photo/signature
Pay the CMAT fee and complete the process

Last year, 74,012 candidates registered for the exam, of which 63,145 appeared, resulting in an overall attendance of 85.32%.
