COMEDK Counselling 2024 Update: Round 1 Allotment Result and Fee Payment Deadlines Extended

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has extended the last date for decision-making, fee payment, and allotment results for COMEDK round 1 counselling 2024. The round 1 allotment result will now be declared on July 21. Candidates who receive seats in COMEDK counselling 2024 can pay the admission fee through the official website, comedk.org.

The deadline for seat cancellation and reporting to the allotted institutions has also been extended to July 22. "Candidates who choose 'accept and freeze' must report to the college strictly according to the dates and times mentioned in the schedule, or they may lose the allotted seat," the official website states.

After the allotment announcement, candidates can make one of the following decisions: accept and freeze the seat, accept and upgrade to a higher preference, reject and upgrade to a higher preference, or reject and withdraw from the process.

COMEDK Counselling 2024: Seat Cancellation Policy

Candidates who accept a seat during round 1 or round 2 can cancel their seat within the specified period in the counselling schedule. However, these candidates will not be eligible to participate in any subsequent rounds.

Accept, freeze and accept, upgrade seats in round 1	As per schedule, the deadline for seat cancellation is before the start of round 3. Candidates can cancel during the seat cancellation period of Round 1 or round 2.
Accept, freeze and accept, upgrade seats in round 2	As per schedule, the deadline for seat cancellation is before the start of round 3. Candidates can cancel only during the seat cancellation period of round 2.
Accept, freeze and accept, upgrade seats in round 3	No seat cancellation is accepted under any circumstances. Candidates must join the allotted college.
