Course-wise Seat Admission for CUSAT CAT 2025
The number of seats available for various B.Tech programmes under CUSAT CAT 2025 is as follows:
➤ B.Tech in Instrumentation Technology – 28 seats
➤ B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding – 42 seats (including 15 reserved for Indian Navy)
➤ B.Tech in Marine Engineering (Residential Programme) – 80 seats
➤ B.Tech in Polymer Science and Engineering – 20 seats
CUSAT CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for CUSAT CAT 2025 B.Tech courses, candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
➤ Must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects.
➤ SEBC candidates from Kerala must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks and 50% marks in Mathematics.
➤ Other candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics.
➤ The maximum age limit for applicants is 25 years.
How to Register for CUSAT CAT 2025?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to complete their CUSAT CAT 2025 registration:
Step 1: Visit the official CUSAT CAT 2025 website - cusat.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'Apply Here' option under CAT 2025.
Step 3: Enter all the required details as directed by the portal to complete the registration.
Step 4: Pay the application fee to finalise the submission.
Step 5: Download and save a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
CUSAT CAT 2025 Exam Dates
CUSAT CAT 2025 is scheduled to be held from May 10 to 12. This exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for admission to various professional and non-professional courses offered at three different campuses and affiliated schools for the 2025-26 academic session.
