Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 examination will start from February 5 and it will continue till February 13, 2021. The registration process will be between August 30 and September 24. This time the IIT Kharagpur will conduct the GATE 2022 Exam.

The IIT Kharagpur has launched the official website of GATE i.e, gate.iitkgp.ac.in. In which they have mentioned that two new papers have been added namely Geomatics Engineering (GE) and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NM).

As per the statement of Director of IIT-Kharagpur VK Tewari told PTI “The two new papers will provide direct benefits to our graduates in these two areas, especially when the country needs human resources with advanced capabilities in shipbuilding industries and geo-informatics”

GATE 2022 admit card will be available for download on January 3, 2022, and the results will be declared on March 17, 2022. The dates are temporary and the exam may be postponed due to COVID-19 for “situations beyond the control”, IIT Kharagpur said.
