GATE 2024 Answer Key Challenge Window Begins Today; Raise Objections till February 25

If you appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2024, here's an important update! The Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bengaluru) has initiated the answer key challenge window on February 21. To voice your concerns or objections against the GATE 2024 answer key, log in to the GOAPS portal at goaps.iisc.ac.in.
Not satisfied with the provided answers? Fret not! You have the opportunity to raise objections until February 25. After carefully reviewing the objections submitted by candidates on the provisional answer key, IISc Bengaluru will release the final GATE 2024 answer key.
To challenge the answers, use your login details, including the registration number and date of birth. The eagerly awaited GATE 2024 results are scheduled for announcement on March 16, with scorecards available from March 23.
Here's a quick guide on calculating your GATE 2024 scores:
- GATE scores are calculated out of 100 for 65 questions.
- Each correct answer in the GATE paper earns you 1 or 2 marks.
- For Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), expect a deduction of 1/3 or 2/3 marks for every incorrect answer.
- No marks are deducted for Numerical Answer Type (NAT) and Multiple Select Questions (MSQs).
Encountering any issues? Reach out to the exam conducting authority at 080 2293 2644/3333 between 10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Keep in mind that objections will not be entertained once the window is closed.
Mark the dates when the GATE 2024 exam took place - February 3, 4, 10, and 11 at various centers across the country. Qualified candidates can utilize their scorecards for pursuing master's programs, seeking financial assistance, and applying for jobs in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)."
