GATE 2027 Registration: Regular Window Closed, Late Fee Application Open Till October 12

The regular registration window for GATE 2027 has closed. However, candidates who have not yet submitted their applications can still apply during the extended registration window by paying a late fee.

According to the revised schedule, registration for GATE 2027 with a late fee will remain open until October 12, 2026. Candidates should complete the application process before the deadline to ensure they do not miss the opportunity to appear for the exam.

Candidates applying during the extended registration period will have to pay the late application fee. The fee is charged per test paper.

Candidates opting for two permitted papers will have to pay the applicable fee separately as per the GATE 2027 fee structure.

How to Apply for GATE 2027 With Late Fee?

Aspiring candidates who have not already completed their registration should do so by following the steps below:

• Visit the GATE 2027 website.
• Register yourself and log in through your required credentials.
• Fill in the personal, educational, and identification details.
• Choose the appropriate GATE 2027 exam paper and desired cities to take the exam.
• Submit the required photograph, signature, and other documents in the required format.
• Verify all details before submitting the form.
• Pay the required fee for GATE 2027 through the online payment methods.
• Submit your form.

GATE 2027 Application Correction Window

The candidates whose applications have been submitted successfully will be provided with the chance to make any permitted corrections through the GATE 2027 application correction process, which will take place between October 14 and October 21, 2026.

The notification for the city allocation will be declared on January 4, 2027. The admit card download date is yet to be disclosed.

The candidates who wish to appear in GATE 2027 should register themselves until October 12, 2026, along with late fee payment.
