The GATE 2024 Response sheet has been released on the official GOAPS portal. Students can login using the enrolment id/ email id and password to download the response sheet. Candidates can download their GATE 2024 response sheet through the link on the official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in. IISc Bangalore will release GATE 2024 answer key on 21st February.

GATE 2024 response sheet will contain the options marked by the candidates. Students will be able to calculate GATE 2024 score using the response sheet and answer key. Students had to attempt three types of questions – multiple choice questions (MCQ), multiple choice questions (MSQ) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. All questions will be of 1 or 2 marks.

GATE 2024 Marking Scheme

Students will be awarded marks as per the following criteria:

MCQs – 1 mark for each correct answer while 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
MCQs – 2 marks for each correct answer while 2/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
There will be no negative marking for NAT and MSQ questions.

GATE 2024 exam was held on February 3, 4, 10 and 11 for 30 papers. It is conducted for admission to postgraduate programs at IISc Bangalore and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The exam was conducted in two sessions on the exam days - forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

According to the exam analysis, students found the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) paper moderate to difficult in terms of difficulty level, while the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) paper was tougher than last year. Electrical Engineering (EE) paper was lengthy but comparatively easy.
