GATE 2025 Exam Centres Update: Prayagraj Shifts to Lucknow Due to Mahakumbh – Check Important Notice

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, the organizing institute for GATE 2025, has changed the exam centres for candidates appearing from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Due to the Mahakumbh gathering, candidates scheduled for February 15 and 16, 2025, will now take their exams in Lucknow instead of Prayagraj.
IIT Roorkee has issued new admit cards, which candidates must download from the GOAPS portal. The official notice urges all affected candidates to check and carry their updated admit cards.
GATE 2025 is set to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The answer key will be released in February, and the results will be announced in March 2025. Earlier, IIT Roorkee had also shifted the exam centre for Prayagraj candidates appearing on February 1 and 2.
