The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will close the registration window tonight, October 13. Those who missed the regular deadline can still apply through the official website.

GATE 2026 will be conducted by IIT Guwahati on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The results will be declared on March 19, 2026.

GATE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for GATE 2026 must have the following degrees from a recognized institution:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts/Humanities or its equivalent.
Students in the third year or above of these degree courses can also apply.
The degree must be recognized by the Ministry of Education/AICTE/UGC/UPSC.
Students with qualifications obtained abroad are also allowed to apply.
