IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 Two Paper Combination List on the official website. Along with this, the GATE 2026 document list and exam cities information has also been updated.

This time GATE 2026 application forms will be available from 25 August 2025. Candidates can apply till 25 September 2025 without late fee and the last date with late fee is 6 October 2025.

GATE 2026 exam dates have been fixed as 7, 8, 14 and 15 February 2026.

There is no change in the two-paper combination list of GATE 2026. Candidates can choose primary and secondary papers while applying. The second paper can be chosen only from those subject combinations that are allowed by GATE.

How to apply for GATE 2026 Second Paper?

While filling the application form, candidates have to first select their primary paper.
Then the second paper can be selected from the list of allowed combinations.
The exam centre for the second paper may be different from the primary paper, but it will be in the same city.
