How to Apply for JEE Main 2027: Check Registration Steps and Documents

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 application form on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The registration window is open from October 24 to November 22, 2026, without a late fee. Candidates who miss the regular deadline can submit the application form until November 26, 2026, by paying the applicable late fee.

Candidates can apply for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 only through the online mode. NTA won't accept applications submitted through any other mode.

According to the official examination notification, JEE Main 2027 Session 1 will be conducted on January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, 2027. The exam city information will be released on December 30, 2026, while the admit cards will be available from January 13, 2027.

JEE Main Registration 2027: Steps to Apply

The following can be done by candidates for completing the JEE Main 2027 application procedure:

• Visit the official website of jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Click on the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 registration page.
• Registration should be done through a mobile number and email id.
• The application number received during the registration process should be noted down.
• Enter the required details in the form.
• Candidates should select the paper and cities for the examination.
• Upload the required photograph, signature, and documents.
• Pay the application fee through the online payment facility provided.
• Submit the application form and take printout of the acknowledgment page.

Candidates are requested to check all the details before submitting the form. As per the guidelines, candidates can apply only once for the examination.

JEE Main 2027 Registration: Documents Required

Candidates are advised to have their documents ready before filling out the JEE Main 2027 application form. Documents needed are:

• Scanned photograph in JPG/JPEG format
• Scanned signature
• Certificate/marksheet of Class 10/equivalent
• Certificate of PwD/PwBD, if applicable

Furthermore, candidates need to upload a live photograph while applying for the exam, as per the guidelines issued by NTA.

All documents should be of good quality and should be uploaded according to the specifications provided in the official application form.

JEE Main 2027 Application Fee: Payment Details

After submitting the application form, it is mandatory for applicants to pay the JEE Main 2027 Application Fee through online mode. Payment can be made using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.

Applicants are supposed to keep the proof of the successful transaction for their reference in future. After making the payment successfully, the confirmation page can be downloaded and printed.

JEE Main 2027 Session 2 Registration

There will be a unique chance for the candidates to apply for the JEE Main Session 2 applicants can use the same application ID for the Session 2 and make payment of the required fee as soon as the registration process starts.

It is advised to the candidates to give a valid email ID and mobile number in the application form. The email ID and mobile number provided by the candidates should either be their own or of their parents or guardians.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will use the registered email ID and mobile number to send the updates to the candidates. Therefore, it is suggested to the candidates to provide correct and valid email ID and mobile number in the JEE Main 2027 application form.
