JEE Main 2027 Application: MeriPehchaan Registration, Photo Size and Documents

JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Application Form is available on jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA uses the MeriPehchaan mode for registration and authentication of candidates. Candidates must upload all the prescribed documents and upload the live photograph while filling the application form.

The last date to fill JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Application Form is 11:50 PM of 22nd November 2026. No late fee submission will be done from 23rd to 26th November 2026. Submission of the application with the late fee of Rs 500 will be accepted from 23rd to 26th November 2026. Correction window is fixed from 27th to 29th November 2026.

JEE Main 2027 Exam Dates and Application Schedule

The JEE Main 2027 Session 1 test dates will be conducted from January 20-24 and January 28, 2027. The exam will be conducted in two slots, one from 09:00-12:00 and another from 15:00-18:00.

The city intimation slip for JEE Main 2027 will be out on December 30, 2026, and the admit card on January 13, 2027.

The tentative JEE Main 2027 Session 2 dates are April 2-7, 2027. The applicant can use the same application number for both sessions.

JEE Main 2027 Documents Required and Photo Size

Candidates should keep the following documents ready while filling out the JEE Main 2027 application form:

This photograph has to be taken while making the application. This will require the use of a device that is fitted with a webcam or scanning of the QR code through a smart phone or tab.

The photograph should have a white background and proper lighting. It should also include around 80 percent of the face, inclusive of the ears. Masks must not be worn during taking the photograph.

How to Fill JEE Main 2027 Application Form

Candidates are expected to go through the following stepwise procedure for completing their registration:

1. Go to the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and log in using MeriPehchaan.
2. Register yourself using required e-KYC details.
3. Set your own password and note the system generated application number.
4. Log in once again and provide your personal and academic data.
5. Select your examination paper and desired examination cities.
6. Upload the required documents and go through live photo verification process.
7. Pay the application fee using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.
8. Download the confirmation page after paying your fees.

The password must be between 8-13 digits long, including one upper case, one lower case, one numeric and one special character.

JEE Main 2027 Application: Important Rules

Only one application form will need to be submitted. The same phone number and email address can be used for one application, but the parent or guardian’s contact information can be included.

It is advisable that candidates verify all the information before submission, as no changes are allowed once NTA receives the application except through the dedicated correction period.

In case the confirmation page does not show up after making the payment, candidates should first check the status of payment from their bank. Candidates should make another payment only when their bank confirms the failure of the previous transaction.
