IIM-Ahmedabad Placement Season Starts in November with Hybrid Format

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) will start its PGP placements in November 2024 in a hybrid mode. This means companies can either visit the campus or conduct interviews online, whichever is easier for them. If needed, the placement process will continue after Cluster 3.

The 2024-25 Summer Internship Recruitment for IIM-A's PGP-FABM programme will also begin on November 12, following the same schedule as the PGP programme.

Here’s the schedule:

Cluster 1: November 12
Cluster 2: November 15
Cluster 3: November 18

IIM-A will introduce reservations in PhD admissions starting in 2025. This decision responds to a long-standing request from the Global IIM Alumni Network.

The online applications for doctoral programmes, which opened on September 19, mention that the Government of India’s reservation rules will be followed. Applications are open until January 20.

IIM-A is the last of the 20 IIMs to adopt this reservation policy. In 2021, Anil Wagde, a member of the Global IIM Alumni Network, filed a case in the Gujarat High Court, asking for reservations in IIM-A’s PhD programmes.
